The inspiration of the body

Since 2005, my main inspiration and even "Plastic obsession or fascination" is the Body. My painting is a questioning of its representation, its eroticism, its animality, its death. The body stands out against a neutral background, without defined planes to place the body in the foreground, just to strengthen people, like Vélasquez and his Matador!
The female nudity is drawn in black and white with incisive, refined contours, focused on certain elements of the body which benefit from a detailed treatment: chest, buttocks, sex ... Only the body counts here! Or in warm or cool colors with lascivious poses. These nudes echo the works of Matisse, Picasso, Schiele, Klimt and Léonor Fini ...
